Blogcrush Week 34 – 6th October 2017
Hello and welcome to Blogcrush Week 34!
#Blogcrush is a unique linky party where you get to promote one of your own posts AND a post written by someone else. Linking up here can flag you up to your favourite bloggers as well as getting to know the other brilliant bloggers who join us. It also drives traffic to your own site too. If you’ve not joined a linky before, check out my beginner’s linky guide.
Wendy (my co-host) has officially left BlogCrush to focus on her freelance writing. I am very sad to lose such a lovely co-host but we wish her well and hope she’ll be back to link up with us once things settle down a bit.
Below is our “I’ve been featured” blog badge and it is for anyone who has been added to the blogcrush linky by someone else. That means someone has really loved your post, and you defo deserve to shout about that! Just copy the code in the text box and paste it into the HTML / text section of your blog. Go on – you’ve earned it!

Blogcrush Week 34
Featured Posts
Each week, I get to choose two fabulous posts from the linky to be my blogcrushes! These are then added back into the linky the following week as the HOST BLOGCRUSH posts. This little perk is reserved for YOUR posts only (i.e. the posts that you add from your own site). Here are the featured posts for Blogcrush Week 34 –
- The Working Parents’ Dilemma by Old House In The Shires
I think all working parents will relate to this little story from Old House In The Shires – that pull between wanting to be at home and wanting to be at work, trying to find a balance and yet still burning out.
- Autumnal Activities With Kids by The Queen Of Collage
Autumn is such a beautiful season and this post contains lots of ideas for getting out and about to embrace the changes that are happening all around us. Conker-hunting is definitely top of our list. Which would you pick?
Congratulations, guys! Please collect your “I’ve been featured” badges from the top of the page
Host Post
I am adding two host posts so that you can choose which one you’d like to comment on.
My first post for blogcrush week 34 is The Easiest Stew and Dumplings Recipe EVER!
Carrying on with the Autumn theme, this meal is one of our family favourites when the weather gets cooler and it is SO easy to do. The meat ends up deliciously tender and the suet-free dumplings are super fluffy. I have included cooking instructions for the oven or the slow cooker, depending on your preference.
My second host post is a giveaway – Bloggers Bluff 26 ft. Daydreams of a Mum
Bloggers Bluff is my guest blogger series – the blogger has to tell 3 funny / unusual stories about themselves but only 2 are true. The readers then need to work out which is the lie. It’s a bit of fun and good fun to guess. It’s nice to be featuring a #BlogCrush regular this week and it’s a dating-themed edition!
If any of you would like to take part in Bloggers Bluff, just drop me a message 🙂
Thank you so much for popping by for Blogcrush Week 34. I am so grateful to each of you and I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
Love, Lucy x
Thank you LUCY so much. That’s kind. Xxx
