BlogCrush Week 70 – 15th June 2018
Hello welcome to BlogCrush Week 70!
About BlogCrush
BlogCrush is a “linky” which means at the bottom of this post is a place where bloggers can add a link to one of their posts and find some new readers. This linky opens at 6am (BST) on a Friday, so a blue button will appear saying “add your link”.
– If you’re a blogger, add 2 posts (1 of yours AND 1 by someone else)
– If you’re search for some new reading material, then scroll to the bottom – each thumbnail will take you to a different blog post
If you’re new to linkies and you’re not sure how to do it, don’t panic! Check out my beginner’s linky guide for some help and advice, and feel free to message me if you have any specific questions.
This week’s hosts are:
- Lucy (Lucy At Home) – @lucy_at_home
- Liberty (Liberty on the Lighter Side) – @libertyhenwick
If you’ve ever read a blog post and thought, “This is brilliant. Everyone needs to read this!” then BlogCrush is the linky for you! We ask our linkers to add a post of their own AND a post they’ve enjoyed that was written by someone else. That means extra exposure for the posts and it’s a great confidence boost to the blogger you nominate.
If you’re here because someone nominated you for BlogCrush…
Congratulations! Someone must have really liked your post! You don’t have to do anything, but if you would like to display you “I was featured on blogcrush” badge, that would be great. Just copy the code from the text box below and paste it into the HTML / text section of your blog!
We try to pin all posts with a pinnable image will be added to the Blogcrush Pinterest Board, but we are still struggling a little with handing over from Alice to Liberty. Please be assured that we are trying to get this sorted ASAP.

The Rules
- Join in with 2 posts:
- 1 post from your blog (personal) – no linkies please
- 1 post from someone else’s blog (your #BlogCrush)
- When you add your BlogCrush (post written by someone else) to the InLinkz form, put “BC” at the beginning of their title
- Tweet your BlogCrush (& us) to let them know you’ve added them to the linky and share their link (@lucy_at_home and @libertyhenwick). Please tweet us your own BlogCrush posts too so we can share them for you.
- Comment using the #BlogCrush hashtag on at least these 4 posts:
- 1 post from Host 1 (personal or BC)
- 1 post from Host 2 (personal or BC)
- 2x personal posts from the rest of the link up
So that’s a minimum of 4 posts.
-
- Add the #BlogCrush badge to the post that you’re linking up from your own blog. You can do this by copying the
gobblydygookcode in the box below and pasting it into the HTML view of your post.
- Add the #BlogCrush badge to the post that you’re linking up from your own blog. You can do this by copying the

Featured Posts
Bloggers can choose a post from anywhere on the internet to add here as their blogcrush. But as hosts, we choose one of the fab linkers from the previous week and add them back into the linky again as “host featured posts.”
Liberty and I were hosting last week so we’ve chosen the featured posts for BlogCrush Week 70:
Liberty’s Blogcrush choice is Could We Start Again Please? by Daydreams of a Mum
My Blogcrush choice is All The Dancing Girls & Chancing Boys by Enda Stories
Enda’s writing style is different to the majority of blog posts I read, but he has a great knack for focussing in on the detail and nuances of family life in the normal everyday. This week, reading these little anecdotes about his teenage kids made smile because it brought back memories of my own childhood.
Congratulations! Please collect your “I’ve been featured” badges from the top of the page because you are featured bloggers on BlogCrush Week 70!
Host Post
For BlogCrush Week 70, I’m linking up 11 Digital Technology Tips That Mums Need To Know
The digital revolution is fast-paced and, at times, overwhelming. And yet, as parents, we need to guide our kids and help them to use it in a beneficial, rather than destructive, way. If you’re floundering and wondering where on earth to begin, then this is the post for you (whether you’re a mum or not!).
Once again, thank you for joining us and here are the posts for BlogCrush Week 70:
