Hellooooo! Welcome back to another week of blog crushing – Blogcrush week 19 to be exact! Thank you so much for popping by. It really does astound me every week how many of you stop by to link up or just have a browse of the posts on offer. I want to say a great big thank you to you all – you’re what makes this little community so special!
Blogcrush is all about celebrating blogs. We ask our bloggers to share 1 post that they’ve written themselves and 1 post that someone else has written (see – lots of blog love going on over here!). If you’d like to join in, just click the blue “Add a link” button at the bottom of this post (check out this beginner’s linky guide if you’re unsure). Or if you’re just here for some fab reads, click on any of the thumbnails below and you will be redirected straight to that post.
This is our presitgious “I was featured” blog badge. Please wear it on your blog with pride if you’ve ever been chosen as someone’s #blogcrush 🙂
- Join in with 2 posts:
- 1 post from your blog (personal) – no linkies please
- 1 post from someone else’s blog (your #BlogCrush)
- **When you add the URL of your BlogCrush to the InLinkz form, put “BC” at the beginning of their title**
- Tweet your BlogCrush (& us) to let them know you’ve added them to the linky
- Comment using the #BlogCrush hashtag on at least these 4 posts:
- 1 of the Lucy’s posts (personal or BC)
- 1 of the Wendy’s posts (personal or BC)
- 1 personal post
- 1 blog crush post
- Add the #BlogCrush badge to the post that you’re linking up from your own blog. You can do this by copying the
gobblydygookcode in the box below and pasting it into the HTML view of your post.
Blogcrush Week 19
Each time, Wendy (my lovely co-host from Naptime Natter) and I pick a post each from the previous #blogcrush link up to feature. That means you get lots of extra comments from our lovely linkers! But remember, only posts linked up in person are eligible for this (i.e. not your blogcrushes). Here are the featured posts for Blogcrush Week 19 –
Wendy’s #Blogcrush is Are You A Good Enough Parent? by Dad Without A Map
My #Blogcrush is Italian Food: Top Ten Myths by Mamma Prada
We LOVE food in our house, and Italian food in particular. It is widely known amongst our friends, family, aquaintances, random people we meet in the street (!) that our 6yo’s favourite food is Spaghetti Bolognaise… because she tells EVERYBODY! Haha. However, I’ve never actually been to Italy so I was shocked reading these myths about Italian food, and I still can’t get over that some of my favourite Italian dishes are, in fact, not Italian at all!
Hurray! Well done, guys! Please collect your “I’ve been featured” badges from the top of the page
Finally, the post I’m linking up for Blogcrush week 19 is called Eliminate School Run Stress With These 8 Fun Games.
We love walking and being outside as a family. Even at 2 years old, my youngest can easily do the 3 mile round trip to school and back, and I think the key is to make it fun. Whether you’re just out for a Sunday afternoon stroll, or you’re doing a mad dash to get to school on time, adding a few games in can really make it interesting for the kids and encourage them to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Thanks for popping over to #blogcrush and I’m looking forward to seeing what wonderful posts you guys have brought along to link up for Blogcrush week 19!
