BlogCrush Week 73 – 6th July 2018

Hi! I am one of the co-hosts of the #BlogCrush linky and this is the post for BlogCrush Week 73. A linky is essentially a place where lots of different bloggers can advertise their posts so keep reading to find out (a) how to join in (b) about lots of fabulous blog posts you might want to read!

About BlogCrush

This linky will take blog post submissions from 6am (BST) Friday until 9pm Sunday. At that time, some thumbnail pictures will appear at the bottom of the post and each one will be a link to a different blog post.

– If you’re a blogger, add 2 posts (1 of yours AND 1 by someone else) by clicking the blue “add your link” button

– If you’re search for some new reading material, then scroll to the bottom – each thumbnail will take you to a different blog post

If you’re new to linkies and you’re not sure how to do it, don’t panic! Check out my beginner’s linky guide for some help and advice, and feel free to message me if you have any specific questions.

Blog Crush linky concept BlogCrush Week 73

This week’s hosts are:

If you’ve ever read a blog post and thought, “This is brilliant. I wish I could share this with everyone!” then BlogCrush is the linky for you! We ask our bloggers to add a post of their own AND a post they’ve enjoyed that was written by someone else.

If you’re here because someone nominated you for BlogCrush…

Congratulations! Someone must have really liked your post! You don’t have to do anything, but if you would like to display you “I was featured on blogcrush” badge, that would be great. Just copy the code from the text box below and paste it into the HTML / text section of your blog!

We do have a Blogcrush Pinterest Board, where we we pin all the posts with pinnable images. Unfortunately, it has been a little difficult over the last few weeks with us having different hosts. Normal service will resume shortly (we hope!)

The Rules

  • Join in with 2 posts:
    • 1 post from your blog (personal) – no linkies please
    • 1 post from someone else’s blog (your #BlogCrush)
  • When you add your BlogCrush (post written by someone else) to the InLinkz form, put “BC” at the beginning of their title
  • Tweet your BlogCrush (& us) to let them know you’ve added them to the linky and share their link (@lucy_at_home and @naptimenatter). Please tweet us your own BlogCrush posts too so we can share them for you.
  • Comment using the #BlogCrush hashtag on at least these 4 posts:
    • 1 post from Host 1 (personal or BC)
    • 1 post from Host 2 (personal or BC)
    • 2x personal posts from the rest of the link up

So that’s a minimum of 4 posts.

    • Add the #BlogCrush badge to the post that you’re linking up from your own blog. You can do this by copying the gobblydygook code in the box below and pasting it into the HTML view of your post.

Featured Posts

Every link-up, the two BlogCrush hosts choose a brilliant post each from the previous week to be our BlogCrush “host posts” and these are then added back into the linky for more views and comments. This is a great way to get some extra exposure for the best posts.

Liberty and I were hosting last week so we’ve chosen the featured posts for BlogCrush Week 73:

Liberty’s Blogcrush choice is TBC

My Blogcrush choice is Raspberry Danish Braid by Delightful Repast

This delicious-looking pastry recipe is made using croissant dough and makes my mouth water just looking at it…! Mmmm.

Congratulations! Please collect your “I’ve been featured” badges from the top of the page because you are featured bloggers on BlogCrush Week 73!

For BlogCrush Week 73, I’m linking up 8 Practical Ways To Deal With A Playground Spat

Jenny has been having a tough time of it at school recently – she and her best friend had a big fall out, which lasted over a week. As a parent, it’s hard to know what to do or how to help – we want to fix it for them, but we’re not around to do it.

If you’ve ever been in this situation, here are 8 pieces of advice to help you, no matter how big your kids get!
