BlogCrush Week 64 – 4th May 2018

Hi guys! We’ve had some lovely sunny weather over the last few days and that always puts me in a good mood. BlogCrush Week 64 is here and I’m sure we’re going to have a great link-up this week!

About BlogCrush

BlogCrush is a linky (a place where bloggers can share their posts and reach new readers). The linky “opens” on Friday at 6am GMT and bloggers can start adding their work then. Just scroll down to the bottom of this post and you’ll see a collection of thumbnail photos – each photo will take you to a different blogger’s post!

– If you’re a blogger, add 2 posts (yours AND someone else’s) by clicking on the blue “Add your link” button near the bottom of this post

– If you’re just here to read some fab blogs then keep scrolling and you’ll find the thumbnail links below

If you’re a blogger who hasn’t joined a linky before – don’t panic! They’re easy once you get the hang of it but can be a bit confusing at first. Check out my beginner’s linky guide for some help and advice, and feel free to message me if you have any specific questions.

This week’s hosts are:

BlogCrush is a little bit different to other linkies, though. We set it up to celebrate the wealth of blogging talent that is out there and share some love in the blogging community. So we don’t just share our own posts – we also ask each blogger to link up a post that they’ve enjoyed by someone else.

So you might be here because a fellow blogger has added your post.

That means they really liked it and they wanted to give it some extra exposure. You are under no obligation to do anything, but you have earned the coveted “I was featured on blogcrush” badge. If you’d like to display this on your blog, simply copy the code from the text box below and paste it into the HTML / text section of your blog!

All posts with a pinnable image will be added to the Blogcrush Pinterest Board, and the host’s blogcrushes will be added to the Best of Blogcrush board! We’d love you to follow those boards and the hosts too 🙂

The Rules

  • Join in with 2 posts:
    • 1 post from your blog (personal) – no linkies please
    • 1 post from someone else’s blog (your #BlogCrush)
  • When you add your BlogCrush (post written by someone else) to the InLinkz form, put “BC” at the beginning of their title
  • Comment using the #BlogCrush hashtag on at least these 4 posts:
    • 1 post from Host 1 (personal or BC)
    • 1 post from Host 2 (personal or BC)
    • 2x personal posts from the rest of the link up

So that’s a minimum of 4 posts.

    • Add the #BlogCrush badge to the post that you’re linking up from your own blog. You can do this by copying the gobblydygook code in the box below and pasting it into the HTML view of your post.

Featured Posts

If you linked up last week, you’re eligible to be one of the hosts’ BlogCrush posts for this week. We each choose our favourite from the week before and add it back into the linky for some extra exposure!

Alice and I were hosting last week so we’ve chosen the featured posts for BlogCrush Week 64:

Alice’s Blogcrush choice is My Daughter is Autistic and That’s Okay by Kate on Thin Ice

Lucy’s Blogcrush choice is Positive Message Tees | The Surrey Food Festival by Passion Fruit, Paws & Peonies

I love a good slogan tee and you all know I’m about positive thinking all the way, so the title of this post instantly grabbed me. But it’s packed full of beautiful photos too (another passion of mine) and the food looks delicious.

Congratulations! Please collect your “I’ve been featured” badges from the top of the page because you are featured bloggers on BlogCrush Week 64!

Host Post

This week I’m linking up a post about getting young kids ready to be teens! – 5 Things To Do NOW About Your Future Teenage Kids

Don’t worry – I’m not wishing their lives away (they’re only 7 & 3), but I do believe that the lessons we teach them now will impact how they handle their teenage years and beyond. This post covers my 5 biggest fears for the teenage years and the plans I’m already putting in place to tackle those issues…

Thanks for linking up with us again at BlogCrush and I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
