BlogCrush Week 57 – 16th March 2018
It’s that time of the week again – BlogCrush Week 57 is open! It’s amazing how much this community has grown in recent weeks – we regularly get over 60 posts linked up now, which is fantastic and we are having new bloggers join us every week. If this is your first visit, you are very welcome!
About BlogCrush
BlogCrush is a linky party. A linky party is a place where lots of different bloggers can share their work and reach a wider audience of readers. However, this linky is special because we also showcase our favourite posts by other bloggers too!
– If you’re a blogger, add 2 posts (yours and someone else’s) by clicking on the blue “Add your link” button near the bottom of this post
– If you’re just here to read some fab blogs then keep scrolling and you’ll find the thumbnail links below
For any bloggers who haven’t joined a linky before, check out my beginner’s linky guide which will tell you everything you need to know!
This week’s hosts are:
- Lucy (Lucy At Home) – @lucy_at_home
- Alice (Letters To My Daughter) – @L2MyDaughter
Here are BlogCrush, we’re all about celebrating each other and giving each other a good PAT ON THE BACK for a job well done.
If a fellow blogger added your post to the BlogCrush linky, that means they really liked it and they wanted to share it here and get you some extra views and comments. So well done on writing such a fab post! Celebrate your awesomeness by copying the code from the text box below and pasting it into the HTML / text section of your blog!
All posts with a pinnable image will be added to the Blogcrush Pinterest Board, and the host’s blogcrushes will be added to the Best of Blogcrush board! We’d love you to follow those boards and the hosts too 🙂

The Rules
- Join in with 2 posts:
- 1 post from your blog (personal) – no linkies please
- 1 post from someone else’s blog (your #BlogCrush)
- When you add your BlogCrush (post written by someone else) to the InLinkz form, put “BC” at the beginning of their title
- Tweet your BlogCrush (& us) to let them know you’ve added them to the linky ( @lucy_at_home and @L2MyDaughter )
- Comment using the #BlogCrush hashtag on at least these 4 posts:
- 1 post from Host 1 (personal or BC)
- 1 post from Host 2 (personal or BC)
- 2x personal posts from the rest of the link up
So that’s a minimum of 4 posts.

Featured Posts
Every week, the co-hosts select a post each from the previous linky to be our BlogCrushes. These posts are added back into the linky for some extra BlogCrushing love! (Please note: we only choose your personal posts for this special honour, not your BC nominations, and they must contain the linky badge to be eligible).
Wendy and I were hosting last week so we’ve chosen the featured posts for BlogCrush Week 57:
Alice’s Blogcrush post is The Teens Have Got This by Daydreams of a Mum (who, incidentally, won the “most featured blogcrusher” prize last week!)
Lucy’s Blogcrush post is E is for Egg Carton Flowers by Queen of Collage
I’m rubbish at crafts. I have very little imagination when it comes to this sort of thing, but my kids love it, so I’m always on the look out for simple ideas that I can introduce them to. These cute egg carton flowers look fab, and would brighten up any home! I can’t wait to have a bash at them with my littlies!
Congratulations! Please collect your “I’ve been featured” badges from the top of the page because you are featured bloggers on BlogCrush Week 57!
Host Post
Regular readers will know I have been trying to arrange mummy-daughter dates for my big girl and I recently. This week we went to see a theatre adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic tale – George’s Marvellous Medicine. So, for BlogCrush Week 57, I’ve linked up our review of it – George’s Marvellous Medicine – Theatre Review
That’s all the admin for this week, now let’s get onto the linky! Please remember to add the linky badge or a text link back here in return for taking part and showcasing your blog here. Have a lovely week everyone!
