Empowering Tees! I’More Review & Giveaway
Sponsored Post
Have you ever been stereotyped? Perhaps someone implied that, as a Northerner, you were a bit unrefined? Or maybe you were teased for being sporty because you were a girl? Growing up, I was constantly bombarded with blonde jokes…
Did you hear the one about the blonde that got excited?
She finished a jigsaw puzzle in six months, when the box said, “two to four years.”
It’s a bit of light-hearted fun but, said often enough, it can begin to have an impact.
Being a northerner doesn’t mean you live on a farm. Being a girl doesn’t mean you play with dolls. Being blonde doesn’t mean you are stupid. You are more than your label.
That’s the idea behind the new lifestyle brand, I’More.
I’More
I’More want to empower children with words that build their confidence. Instead of shackling children with labels and expectations, let’s give them the ability to grow and develop.
“I am more than stereotypes, more than beauty, more than grades, more than society’s expectations.
I am my own kind of magic…” – I’More
I’More Tees
We were sent a range of I’More Tees to review, and I must say we were very impressed (keep reading for a chance to get your hands on one for free!).
They were beautifully packaged (which didn’t last long as my girls were eager to rip off the paper and look inside!). Each t-shirt is made from 100% organic cotton and is “Climate Neutral” which means it is manufactured using only renewable, green energy.
My eldest immediately pulled out her grey tee with the brilliantly positive affirmation, “I’m all kinds of awesome”.
“I’m wearing this today!” she declared and promptly pulled it on over her head.
My little one was also keen to try out a new look and got herself all tangled up in her black I’More tee. We quickly got her arms and head detangled and into the right holes, and she proceeded to prance around the living room, showing off her prize!
I have to admit, I didn’t think I’d be very keen on the black one as I usually dress my kids in bright colours, but it actually looked really good. The logo stands out really well against the dark background and it was a logo I was proud for her to be sporting.
We also got this design in white.
And finally, there was the “I’m more than my hair” tee. This one really jumped out at me because my youngest has a wild mop of dark, curly hair. I absolutely love it (I always wanted curls) but we’ve had sooo many comments about taming it or how funny it is.
I do worry that she’s going to grow up hating her hair because it’s the first thing anyone comments on. But, as this fabulous t-shirt says, she is more than her hair – she is a sensitive, funny, energetic toddler with a quick mind and a love of Disney Princesses!
I definitely recommend taking a look at the Positive Thinking Toolbox on the I’More website. There are a whole host of ideas and resources to help train your child’s inner voice to be more positive and encouraging.

I love that a company has looked at empowering children. What a fantastic message to send our kids – fantastic xx #blogcrush
Yes I love the idea behind the t-shirts too
Love those shirts! I wish I could enter your giveaway, but I’m too far away. Your son’s shirt is fantastic! #blogcrush
What an awesome idea #Blogcrush
You can do this!
I recently met the team behind I’More Kids and they’re incredible. So passionate. I’m a big fan of theirs. #BlogCrush
Yes they seem fab! I’m a big fan too. I’ve seen they’ve just introduced a new design now too
What a lovely line of clothing, with such thought behind the design and the philosophy. Also I have to say I adore your wee ones hair! She is gorgeous! #blogcrush
I have 1yr old twins and I repeat in my head on a daily basis ‘you can do this’ haha 🙂
A fab mantra!
What a great idea. It’s so easy to forget to big up our children and I often feel like all i’ve done all day is said ‘Dont do that’! I now make a point of telling my 3 year old he is good at XYZ, especially when he says he isn’t. #blogcrush
Love these!!!! Awesome post and awesome giveaway hun!
#blogcrush

I love these shirts – would love to win one for my very strong-willed and independent daughter! #BlogCrush
I love this idea, it is so true, these jokes can end up embedding themselves into the way we think and feel about ourselves. These look fantastic, I am a huge fan of anything that inspires us towards self love and treating one another with kindness too #blogcrush
These are awesome t-shirts! I cannot think of anyone who wouldn’t benefit from these great sayings. Thank you, Lucy, for introducing these! M’wah! #BlogCrush
These tshirts are great. It’s so true we shouldn’t be given labels. As a child I was considered posh as I had a different accent. My parents were amused by this as they were from the area known for its potteries. #BlogCrush
Really love the look of these T-Shirts but also more importantly the idea and principles behind them! They look great. #BlogCrush
don’t let anyone rule your life, enjoy your self and do as you please.
Oh I love these tops and the messages printed on them are brilliant. It’s so important that we don’t label our children and instead just leave them to be their fantastic wonderful selves xx #blogcrush
What a great idea. I love that they are trying to get people to see further than the stereotype. My son gets told, a lot, that he will be a great rugby player because of his size. I used to tell people he could be a ballet dancer if he wanted. It was often met with a laugh. Why not though? #BlogCrush
Absolutely – ballet players need to be strong too!
Listen to others advice but always make your own decisions
Again, sending over love from #stayclassymama <3 <3 <3
