Family Meals Made Easy With TickleBuds Food Parcels

Collaborative Post

I still maintain that weaning is the stage I dreaded most as a new mum.

Think about it; you’re gradually getting used to being a parent, your baby is beginning to take more regular naps, you’ve established a mutually agreeable feeding schedule, and suddenly…BAM – baby is 6 months old and your whole routine goes out the window.

You’ve now got to introduce solids. Eek!

Add to that the long list of foods that children can only eat after a certain age and you’ve got a strong case for sending a poor, sleep-deprived mum (or dad) into a state of mild panic!

That’s where TickleBuds comes in!

  • They then deliver directly to your door (either fortnightly or monthly) with enough ingredients to make between 12 and 16 meals (these can be frozen once cooked)

*Box ages are: 6-7mths, 7-8mths, 8-10mths, 10-12mths, and 12mth+ (ours was 12mth+)

We tried it out!

I don’t believe in recommending something until I’ve tried it so once our package arrived, we got to work in the kitchen.

I’m not much of a cook, but the recipes were really easy to follow. They were very quick to put together because everything is already bagged in the quantities you need.

I was pleasantly surprised how many fresh ingredients were included; we could make proper, home-cooked family meals, but without the hassle of deciding what to make and measuring things out. Plus, I knew my little ones were getting something that would be really good for them.

I was a little concerned about how fresh the food would be when I unpacked it as hubby had taken the delivery and didn’t realise it was filled with food – the box had been sat in our hallway for several hours on the hottest day of the year so far! But there was no need to worry because TickleBuds use special packaging for the fridge items called WoolCool – a mixture of sheep’s wool and ice packs – which guarantees to keep the items at the right temperature for 48 hours!

As you can see, it’s a meal packed full of vitamins and yummy goodness!

And I’m really excited because Ticklebuds have agreed to give one of you lucky readers a chance to try it out for yourselves!
