Instagram Round Up 1: Four Months Of Snapping!

It’s hard to believe that I have been on Instagram 4 months already. At the beginning, Instagram totally freaked me out! I hated being a beginner and not knowing how it all worked. But here we are, 4 months later, ready for Lucy At Home Instagram Round Up 1.

When I first started out, I tried to go for pale, arty photos because that’s what I thought I should do. However, I’m all about bright, vibrant colours in real life, and the muted, washed-out colours didn’t fit well with me. So I soon changed and began taking photos that were vivid and colourful.

It has been a brilliant experience and Instagram has quickly become my favourite social media channel. So much so that I’ve decided to do a regular round up here on my blog. This is Instagram Round Up 1.

I was so touched that Jenny had remembered my love of Cherry Blossom, and she’d kept it so carefully for me.

Is there any bunch of flowers more precious than the one picked by your 2yo?! 😍❤ I love this photo so much!

Another photo of my girls giving me flowers (I’m sensing a theme here!). This time, it was my little Charis who picked this daisy for me.

It is a source of much hilarity in our family that, to date, my most popular Instagram photo EVER is, in fact, a photo of my husband’s handiwork! It was so popular, that the chef has agreed to post his recipe on my blog. Coming soon! 🙂

We’re a really outdoors-y family! We love to get out for some fresh air whenever I can. This photo of the girls with their umbrellas brings backs of many happy memories of wet, muddy walks.

I was trying to let Charis have a go on her bike as I knew the school holidays were coming and she wouldn’t be getting the one-on-one attention that she’d become accustomed to. She had other ideas and decided that climbing fences was much more fun.

This photo was taken on the terrace of the exclusive Robinsons Suite, Centre Court, Wimbledon! We won tickets through a blog giveaway and got the complete VIP treatment. It was incredible.

Ah I’ve really enjoyed having a trip down memory lane. Thanks for joining me at Instagram Round Up 1 and I hope to see you again in another 4 months! What are your favourite memories of the last 4 months? Do you like taking photos or do you prefer to soak up the moment? Which is your favourite photo in this round up?

Photos are beautiful! As much as I try, I just can’t seem to become an Instagrammer. . Especially now that I’m a blogger I feel bad for all my personal friends who I doubt are interested in all my blog info!!

I love that you eschewed what you thought you ‘should’ do for what truly felt like you! What a lovely round up of photos. I adore the one with the brollies!! #blogcrush
