This week’s hosts are:

Here are BlogCrush, we’re all about celebrating each other and giving each other a good PAT ON THE BACK for a job well done.

If a fellow blogger added your post to the BlogCrush linky, that means they really liked it and they wanted to share it here and get you some extra views and comments. So well done on writing such a fab post! Celebrate your awesomeness by copying the code from the text box below and pasting it into the HTML / text section of your blog!

The Rules

  • Join in with 2 posts:
    • 1 post from your blog (personal) – no linkies please
    • 1 post from someone else’s blog (your #BlogCrush)
  • When you add your BlogCrush (post written by someone else) to the InLinkz form, put “BC” at the beginning of their title
  • Comment using the #BlogCrush hashtag on at least these 4 posts:
    • 1 post from Host 1 (personal or BC)
    • 1 post from Host 2 (personal or BC)
    • 2x personal posts from the rest of the link up

So that’s a minimum of 4 posts.

    • Add the #BlogCrush badge to the post that you’re linking up from your own blog. You can do this by copying the gobblydygook code in the box below and pasting it into the HTML view of your post.

Featured Posts

Like most linkies, both hosts get to choose a favourite post from the previous link-up – a featured blogger. Here at BlogCrush, we believe these featured posts should get some extra attention so we add them back into the linky for you as our Host BlogCrush posts. This means you get lots of extra views, shares & comments from our lovely linkers.

Alice and I were hosting last week so we’ve chosen the featured posts for BlogCrush Week 58:

Alice’s Blogcrush post is Help, My Baby Needs Open Heart Surgery by Five in the Hive

My Blogcrush post is My Story of Taking Antidepressants by Mrs H’s Favourite Things

What stood out for me in this post was the absolute honesty. There’s a stigma around mental health issues, but there’s an even greater stigma around taking medication to deal with those issues. As someone who has taken antidepressants in the past, I found this post very refreshing and I’m sure it will be a great encouragement to anyone who is worried about medicating, or who feels embarrassed about doing so.

Congratulations to you both! Please collect your “I’ve been featured” badges from the top of the page because you are featured bloggers on BlogCrush Week 58!

Host Post

The post I am linking up this week was one of those rare posts that just pours out of you. When I sat down to write, this topic hadn’t been on my mind at all, but when my site showed up these six little words, I just had to address it somehow…

Do you know how very occasionally, the search engines actually let you know what people have searched in order to be directed to your site? Well last week, I got one of those rare pieces of information, and the words that had been typed were “full time mum need a break”. My heart immediately went out to this poor woman – the whole reason I started this blog was because I used to be her – I was the one googling each of my parenting highs and lows for the reassurance that I was “doing it right”. This post is for her – To The Lady Who Just Googled “Full Time Mum Need A Break”

to the mum who just googled " full time mummy need a break " - mum sat in play park BlogCrush Week 58

I’m looking forward to seeing what you’ve all brought with you this week and I’m sure it’s going to be another great weekend of sharing and supporting. Thank you for popping by again and here’s the link up for you:
