Bloggers Bluff 18: Mummy and Liss

Bloggers Bluff is a guest post game for bloggers and this week we’re featuring Zoe from Mummy and Liss.

The Rules: Our blogger of the week will tell us three unusual stories about themselves. Two will be true. One will be completely made up!

Zoe’s blog is quite new, but you can tell that she’s thoroughly enjoying the experience and I’m so pleased to be featuring her on Bloggers Bluff.

Did you guess right?

Okay but before we do that, have you made your guess on Intrepid Bebe‘s Bloggers Bluff? Drum roll please… her bluff was

Bloggers Bluff B: Having a baby girl after scans indicated a boy

Phew! I’m so glad this was the lie because, I mean, WHAT A NIGHTMARE that would have been!

In my second pregnancy, we were told the doctors were 95% sure it was a girl. Ordinarily, this would have been pretty good odds except… my friend had just been told the doctors were 95% sure she would never have kids, and she conceived 2 months later! I refused to buy any girls clothes at all, just in case. However, we did have a girl! No dramas! Haha 🙂

This Week

Okay, so as I said, this week we’re joined by Zoe from Mummy and Liss.

Let’s find a little bit more about her…

Mummy and Liss

I started my blog in January 2017 and after 3 months went self hosted and moved blogging sites. I’ve now been blogging for 4 months and have had my current blog for the grand total of 2 months, I’m a newbie but I love it.

The best thing about blogging is the seeing other people enjoying your content. I absolutely love writing and having lots of views always boosts my confidence.

Mummy & Liss is a UK lifestyle & mummy blog. I write about all things mummy and all things Liss (My 1 year old daughter Alyssia) as well as anything I feel passionate about. I like to write about things that I think would help others, I often ask for advice on my blog posts and would love for others to get involved in the comments.

My advice to new bloggers would be to just go for it.. you have absolutely nothing to lose if you start off small.

Now let’s get down to business! Here are Zoe’s three Bloggers Bluff submissions:

Bloggers Bluff ABloggers Bluff Zoe Mummy and Liss

I once passed out in an Religious Studies lesson in front of the whole class after watching a horrible documentary on abortions. I collapsed as I was leaving the room at the top of the stairs and my RS teacher had to carry me through to the medical room. How embarrassing! I never went back to an RS lesson.

Bloggers Bluff B

When I was heavily pregnant, I thought I would cook me and my partner a lovely fry up one Sunday morning. I cooked the eggs for too long in a dodgy pan and set off the fire alarms in our block of flats.

I thought it was just ours until I realised that all 7 flats’ fire alarms were going off and the corridor alarm was flashing, My partner and our neighbour had to rush out and press buttons on the alarm panel to stop them all. It was so embarrassing. All I wanted was some fried eggs with my breakfast. Oops!

Bloggers Bluff C

When I turned 18, my partner was quite unwell with the chicken pox. I was annoyed at him for getting poorly on my birthday when we had planned for months to go for a night out. So rather than being the nice caring girlfriend that I should’ve been, I left him at home feeling sorry for himself and went out and got absolutely hammered until I needed to be looked after myself!

So there you have it. Which is the lie and why??

Find out the answer in the next edition of Bloggers Bluff! Why not subscribe (bottom of the page) to my blog so you don’t miss out?

Popping over from #TriumphantTales to say Hi.
bloggers Bluff is a good idea, but i guess you’d have to mix in the same blogging circles to have a little idea of the blogger to amok a guess on the ‘lie’ but I’d guess the first one is false, as no RS teacher would be allowed to carry a student.

Oh I like this! I’m going for B as I know there are foods we are not supposed to eat when we’re pregnant – not that we all listen to the ‘rules’ (I ate eggs towards the end!) but this is the only thing I can think of because they’re all so believable! 🙂 Thank you for linking up to #TriumphantTales 🙂

Hmmm I’m going A because I can’t see being allowed to get away with never going back to RS again?
    Thanks for sharing with #coolmumclub

Hmmm this is a tough one. I can completely see how getting ill on your birthday would be a bummer, and perhaps only be fixed by a night out on the town. The egg one sounds possible too, because let’s face it, most people would press all the alarms in panic! Let’s go with A – because it’s unlikely that a school would allow something awful to be shown to a class (I hope!!!). #DreamTeam

How fab is this idea for a blogging series? I’d say that story A is the lie, the others are truths! I know if it were my luck, id set off the alarms too so I cant believe that to be a lie!
Thank you for sharing this post with us at #TriumphantTales, I hope to see you back on Tuesday
