#BlogCrush Week 10: 21st April 2017

It’s #Blogcrush time again! Thanks for joining us! This is a blogger’s linky party, which is basically a list of blogs from lots of different writers, brought together into one place. It’s hosted by myself and the wonderful Wendy from Naptime Natter.

BUT #blogcrush boasts some of the best posts on the internet because we ask our linkers to add, not only their own fab posts, but also a post that someone else wrote that has blown them away.

If you’re here because someone chose you as their #blogcrush this week, congratulations!  Collect your medal (blog badge) here:

If you’re here to link up or to check out the stunning blog posts that our linkers have sourced, then keep reading…

This week: spring sunshine

This week my kids were on their Easter holidays and we’ve really been enjoying the spring sunshine. It’s a long time since we’ve had such lovely weather at this time of year, and it makes such a difference when you can get outside.

We had a lovely stay with my parents who’ve recently moved house, and the girls had so much fun playing hide and seek in their garden. In fact the spring sunshine was so warm, I even managed a spot of sunbathing (a big thing for me as I’m ALWAYS cold! Haha).

Did any of you manage to get out and enjoy the spring sunshine too? I hope so!

#BlogCrush

**Special Notice for this week** Because Wendy was away last week and I hosted #BlogCrush on my own, I’ve chosen both the host Blog Crush posts and allocated one of them as Wendy’s.

The Rules

  • Join in with 2 posts:
    • 1 post from your blog (personal) – no linkies please
    • 1 post from someone else’s blog (your #BlogCrush)
  • **When you add the URL of your BlogCrush to the InLinkz form, put “BC” at the beginning of their title**
  • Tweet your BlogCrush to let them know you’ve added them to the linky
  • Comment using the #BlogCrush hashtag on at least these 4 posts:
    • 1 of my posts (personal or BC)
    • 1 Wendy’s posts (personal or BC)
    • 1 personal post
    • 1 blog crush post
  • Add the #BlogCrush badge to the post that you’re linking up from your own blog. You can do this by copying the gobblydygook code in the box below and pasting it into the HTML view of your post.

IMPORANT NOTICE: There have been a few people only adding posts from their own site. This isn’t really in the spirit of the #blogcrush linky. Please, please, PLEASE make sure you’re following the linky rules or it spoils it for everyone. Wendy and I don’t want to be the blog police – it makes us sad! If you’re unsure, please tweet me 🙂 You can also check out this post for general info about linky parties.

Featured Posts

It was great that so many of you still managed to link up with us last week, even though it was the bank holiday weekend. We really appreciate your loyalty and we love the community that is being built up in this little space!

The two posts I’ve chosen to feature this week are:

Spring Into Summer by Pam’s Bake And Baby Blog

The Penguins by Mind The Mummy

Spring Into Summer is a lovely celebration of all the things we’ve got to look forward to as summer is approaching. Summer is definitely my favourite season and this post really got me excited for the warm weather! But be warned, Pam’s also covered the not-so-welcome bits of summer too! Haha. This will be my #blogcrush post.

The Penguins is a really heartfelt post about the pain of leaving your little one at nursery. I related to so much of these feelings and worries, and was glad that someone else had been able to put it all into words for me. This will be Wendy’s #blogcrush post.

Congratulations, ladies! Please collect your “I’ve been featured” badges from the top of the page

Host Post

Finally, I’m linking up a post about blogging. I am certainly no expert, and the pro bloggers would probably start hyperventilating at the content of this post but… see what you think! It’s called Breaking These 9 Blogging Rules Will Make You Unstoppable.

There are so many posts out there that say you need to jump through all these hoops to be a successful blogger, but actually, I’ve found some of the “rules” just aren’t necessary.
