BlogCrush Week 56 – 9th March 2018

Collaborative Post

Welcome back BlogCrush-ers! This is BlogCrush Week 56 and it’s the last in our 4 week birthday bonanza! So if you haven’t entered the giveaway already, scroll down and enter to be in with a chance of winning some fab prizes (worth £60+).

About BlogCrush

BlogCrush is a linky party. A linky party is a place where lots of different bloggers can share their work and reach a wider audience of readers. However, this linky is special because we also showcase our favourite posts by other bloggers too!

– If you’re a blogger, add 2 posts (yours and someone else’s) by clicking on the blue “Add your link” button near the bottom of this post

– If you’re just here to read some fab blogs then keep scrolling and you’ll find the thumbnail links below

For any bloggers who haven’t joined a linky before, check out my beginner’s linky guide which will tell you everything you need to know!

This week’s hosts are:

Here are BlogCrush, we’re all about celebrating each other and giving each other a good PAT ON THE BACK for a job well done.

If a fellow blogger added your post to the BlogCrush linky, that means they really liked it and they wanted to share it here and get you some extra views and comments. So well done on writing such a fab post! Celebrate your awesomeness by copying the code from the text box below and pasting it into the HTML / text section of your blog!

All posts with a pinnable image will be added to the Blogcrush Pinterest Board, and the host’s blogcrushes will be added to the Best of Blogcrush board! We’d love you to follow those boards and the hosts too 🙂

The Rules

  • Join in with 2 posts:
    • 1 post from your blog (personal) – no linkies please
    • 1 post from someone else’s blog (your #BlogCrush)
  • When you add your BlogCrush (post written by someone else) to the InLinkz form, put “BC” at the beginning of their title
  • Comment using the #BlogCrush hashtag on at least these 4 posts:
    • 1 post from Host 1 (personal or BC)
    • 1 post from Host 2 (personal or BC)
    • 2x personal posts from the rest of the link up

So that’s a minimum of 4 posts.

    • Add the #BlogCrush badge to the post that you’re linking up from your own blog. You can do this by copying the gobblydygook code in the box below and pasting it into the HTML view of your post.

Featured Posts

Every week, the co-hosts select a post each from the previous linky to be our BlogCrushes. These posts are added back into the linky for some extra BlogCrushing love! (Please note: we only choose your personal posts for this special honour, not your BC nominations, and they must contain the linky badge to be eligible).

Wendy and I were hosting last week so we’ve chosen the featured posts for BlogCrush Week 56:

Wendy’s Blogcrush post is TBC

Lucy’s Blogcrush post is A World of Children’s Books by Five in the Hive

I’ve just started reading The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe with Jenny (7) – it was one of my favourite books as a child and it’s one of those things that I always imagined doing with my kids once they got old enough. Well I’m pleased to say that, along with a load of other brilliant books, this one made it into Amy’s list of brilliant children’s books. And, after reading through her list, I’m reminded of so many others that I need to introduce my kids to…!

Congratulations! Please collect your “I’ve been featured” badges from the top of the page because you are featured bloggers on BlogCrush Week 56!

Host Post

My post for BlogCrush Week 56 is called 9 Things My Kids Say That Make My Heart Sing

This was such a happy post to write – all about those little phrases that make family life so wonderful. Of course it’s not all sunshine and rainbows… but sometimes it’s nice (and important) to focus on those things and just take the time to celebrate them.

**BlogCrush 1 Year Giveaway**

To celebrate 1 year of blogcrushing (!), we’re giving you guys the chance to win some FAB prizes! You have until Sunday 11th March to get your entries in (see full terms and conditions at the bottom of this post).

There are two competitions running:

  • Most featured BlogCrush-er
  • Open BlogCrush Giveaway

Most Featured BlogCrush-er

Every week, the hosts choose a featured post each. We only choose posts that have been linked up in person for this (i.e. not your blogcrushes). We will be looking back over the last 12 months and working out who has been a host featured blogger the most times. This will include the 4 weeks during the competition too.

The prize is The Newbie Giveaway Guide (RRP £20)

This is a 5 week e-course for bloggers (by yours truly) all about how to organise and host your own giveaways, as well as some information about working with brands.

Open BlogCrush Giveaway

This is a rafflecopter giveaway which is open to anyone who has ever linked up with us at BlogCrush. The rafflecopter widget will appear here on BlogCrush Week 55 and on next week’s link up too. You can add entries on any of these weeks.

To ensure that only genuine blogcrush-ers enter, we have made the first entry compulsory. Once you have done this entry, you will unlock other ways of entering the competition and each entry increases your chances of winning the prize bundle.

There will be one winner and the prize bundle (worth over £60) is as follows:

BlogCrush 1 Year Anniversary Prizes BlogCrush Week 55

And here’s a vlog from Alice if you’d like a closer look at our fab prizes!

Love, Lucy x

P.S. Please add the linky badge to your posts as it encourages more people to join in 🙂
