BlogCrush Week 29 – 1st September 2017

Hello my lovelies and welcome to our bloggers’ linky party! We’re on Blogcrush Week 29 and it’s so nice to be back with you guys after my two week break. I need to say a big thank you to Wendy and Kelly for doing such a fab job while I was away!

If you’ve never done a linky before, it is basically a list of blog posts all collected in one place. If you’re a blogger, you can add your post to the list in return for following the rules below. Check out this beginner’s linky guide if you need a bit of help.

If you’re just here to have a read of the fab blogs here, then be my guest! We have some fantastic writers join us for blogcrush so I’m sure you’ll find some fab reads! Click on the thumbnails below to be taken directly to each blog post.

This is our “I’ve been featured” blog badge and it is for anyone who has been added to the blogcrush linky by someone else. That means someone has really loved your post, and you defo deserve to shout about that! Just copy the code in the text box and paste it into the HTML / text section of your blog. Go on – you’ve earned it!

**PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A RULE CHANGE!**

I’m sure most of you are familiar with the new rules by now but I’m just keeping this reminder up for a little longer in case we have people joining us who have been on a blog break over the summer holidays. Basically, we still want you to comment on 4 posts but instead of having to comment on 1 personal post & 1 blogcrush post from the main list, we want you to comment on 2 personal posts.

Old rules

Comment on at least these 4 posts:

  • 1 of the Lucy’s posts (personal or BC)
  • 1 of the Wendy’s posts (personal or BC)
  • 1 personal post
  • 1 blog crush post

New rules

Comment on at least these 4 posts:

  • 1 of the Lucy’s posts (personal or BC)
  • 1 of the Wendy’s posts (personal or BC)
  • 2x personal posts

We would love you to comment on additional posts too. Lots of comments flying back and forth makes for a super linky and the more you put  in, the more you get out.

We hope you like the new rules and that it makes the linky even better for you guys 🙂 Your feedback is always appreciated so feel free to tweet us / comment with your thoughts.

Blogcrush Week 29

Featured Posts

Each week, Wendy (my fabulous co-host from Naptime Natter) and I pick a post each from the previous #blogcrush link-up to feature. That means you get lots of extra comments from our lovely linkers! But remember, this little perk is only for YOUR posts (i.e. not your blogcrushes). As Kelly was hosting instead of me last week, she has chosen the host blogcrush for this week. Here are the featured posts for Blogcrush Week 29 –

Wendy’s #Blogcrush is The Chaos Of The Smile Theory by Lisa Pomerantzster

Kelly’s #Blogcrush is 6 Teen Sayings Of The Summer by Old House In The Shires

Congratulations, guys! Please collect your “I’ve been featured” badges from the top of the page

Host Post

Finally, my post for blogcrush week 29 is: The School Holidays: Did I Fail You, Little One?

I love having my kids at home for the school holidays… but it’s still hard work… and sometimes we get annoyed at each other. That’s what this post is about – just trying to find the right balance.
